Faculty in the Patterson School of Natural Sciences are continually conducting research studies in a variety of areas. Ouachita’s current students have the opportunity to apply for competitive research assistant positions. Those selected spend part of their summer on campus, assisting faculty with their projects, while honing their own skills in various areas of research. On select dates, rising high school seniors are invited to learn more about the research work being conducted by these Ouachita students.

Here's an idea of what the day looks like:

10:00 am - Check-In and Welcome in Jones Science Center (JSC)
10:15 am - Research Rotation
11:15 am - Research Rotation
12:15 pm - Lunch and Q&A with Research Panel & Admissions
1:00 pm - Campus Tour (optional)
2:15 pm - Conclusion of Tour
