Prospect Skills Camp

2 SESSIONS

• Pitchers/Catchers - morning session 10:00 – 12:00
• All Other skills - afternoon session 1:30 – 4:30

$90.00 per session with camp t-shirt

$165.00 for both 

Prospect Skills Camp is an invite only advanced level skills camp and is divided into two sessions. You can expect to be educated, motivated, and become a better athlete by current Ouachita Baptist University softball coaching staff and athletes

We will work together to provide a unique experience. Our intent is that each athlete will have the opportunity to take their skill set to the next level and begin preparing for an intense competitive college atmosphere.

Pitchers and Catchers:

Campers will be provided pitching instruction in a fast-paced, accelerated manner aimed towards the more advanced pitcher. Camp instruction will include less fundamental work and will offer a more in-depth breakdown with an emphasis on power, mobility and spin efficiency while working through advanced drills for movement pitches. Pitchers and catchers are encouraged to attend both sessions so that the coaching staff can evaluate all assets.

All Defensive and Offensive:

Players will participate in an Ouachita Baptist style practice with the same defensive, offensive and team drills that the Ouachita Lady Tigers practice daily. Our goal is to spread as much advanced skill instruction by introducing as many OBU drills as possible during the allotted time. This camp will be for infield, outfield, throwing, catching, hitting, and slapping.

Camp Schedule!

• Morning Session Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
• Pitchers and Catchers Camp – 10:00 – 12:00
• Lunch 12:00 – 1:00 (on your own) for those attending both sessions
• Afternoon Session Registration begins at 1:00 p.m.
• Prospect Skills Camp - 1:30 – 4:00
• Optional Campus Tour at 4:15

What to Bring:

Water will be provided for all campers

Ouachita Tiger Gear will be available for sale.
