Tiger Days

A great way to discover campus - and new friends!

A Tiger Day is a large visit event designed for prospective students and families that gives you a broad view of life at Ouachita! 

You’ll get an insider’s perspective on campus by hearing directly from the president, admissions counseling staff, faculty and current students. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit in small groups with the dean or faculty member in an academic area that interests you.

We want you to have the opportunity to connect with members of the Ouachita community face-to-face, to get your questions answered and to see what is so special about the Ouachita experience.

Are you looking to bring a group? - Tiger Days are designed for families. If you are interested in bringing a school or church group to visit campus, please contact our Campus Visit Coordinator at admissions@obu.eduso that we can plan a visit to meet your needs, or complete the group visit request form on the website. 

Sample Schedule

• 9:00 a.m. – Check-in Opens
• 9:30 a.m. – Welcome Session
• 10:00 a.m. – Academic Session
• 11:00 a.m
  • Students attend Current Student Panel Discussion
  • Parents attend Parent Panel Discussion
• 12:00 p.m. – Lunch & Financial Aid Session
• 1:00 p.m. – Campus Tours
• 2:15 p.m. – Wrap up at the Tiger
